Thanks for such nice tips. Last time when i used PrecisionRelocation moving service i used your tips and got successfully relocated to my new office. Thanks again!!!

  2. I agree with all the points in the blog, the only thing I would add would be that in Canada the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM)can help you choose a mover that has all the above points.

It is always a good idea to look into Associations in you country to get tips on and about your move.

  4. Finding a reputable mover that has positive reviews is a MUST! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard of people getting scammed because they went with the absolute cheapest quote. There is a reason some people are priced a little higher than others- the quality of service and peace of mind are well worth a few extra bucks.

  5. Great tips, it is important to sort out your things before you start packing, it is also useful to put label on box that tells you what you have in there, this will make the unpacking easier.

  6. I just came across your blog while browsing for moving and storage information. Your article about how to have a stress-free move was especially interesting. I especially liked your comments about packing early and be prepared for anything that may come up; self-storage is an easy fix to hold belongings you don’t want to move with you. I am adding you to my favorites. We’re writing from a mini-storage facility in Monrovia, CA called Dry Dock Storage: http://www.drydockstorageonline.com, a very helpful service or option to know about when moving. We’re currently offering exclusive online specials for self storage. These 50% off specials can be found at our web site. Any feedback would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

  7. This article is right on point. In our experience, to many customers wait to the last minute to prepare. A good 30 days of planning should be put in before the move. From getting packing supplies, choosing a vendor and redirecting your mail, it’s best to have it done well in advance.

  8. very well written! anyone moving should definitely read this
