  1. We agree. One of the questions that we get asked over and over is if we protect the furniture with moving blankets. Our answer is always yes of course. We use moving pads and never moving blankets. We tell our customers that we wrap anything that has a finish in a thick moving pad and items such as garden tools get wrapped in burlap moving pads. We never charge extra for this because it is a major factor of hiring a professional moving company. We can answer any questions you have about moving.

  2. We agree as well. Always book your move in advance, especially during the peak months. Movers that have a good reputation will be booked if you wait to long to get in their schedule.

Another thing is to ask what they do to protect your belongings and the property. Furniture pads are a must and should come free of charge, as this does protect your furniture. It also protects the company from damage claims. Rug runners, door jamb protectors, and corner guards should be used to protect your home as well.

  3. I wish summer was a bit cooler out here in San Francisco. Moving is tough work and the heat can be down right unbearable.
